Ain Alalam – Rashad Iskandrni

As part of the EV AUTO SHOW, and in a step that strengthens the integration between applied and academic education, the National Automotive and Vehicles Academy (NAVA), represented by Mr. Mohammed Al-Suhaim, Managing director of the Academy, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Prince Mohammed Bin Salman College for Business and Entrepreneurship (MBSC), represented by Dr. Zeger Degraeve, Executive Dean of MBSC, on October 28, 2025.

The MoU establishes a strategic partnership aimed at developing national talent and empowering Saudi leaders in the industrial and advanced technology fields related to the automotive sector.

As a key enabler of the industrial sector in the field of advanced vehicles, NAVA believes that true investment begins with human capital. This belief drives us to continuously develop our educational programs to make a real difference, with professionalism that goes beyond theoretical learning.

Dr. Zeger Degraeve, Executive Dean of MBSC, stated:

“This collaboration reflects our mission to develop principled, entrepreneurial leaders who can turn vision into reality. At MBSC, we go beyond teaching—we shape leaders who create lasting value. Partnering with NAVA allows us to continue shaping the future of leadership in Saudi Arabia.”

As a continuation of the discussion about partnerships, Mohammed Al-Suhaim, Managing Director of NAVA Academy, stated: Our commitment to preparing qualified talents capable of driving economic growth in line with the Kingdom’s industrial development goals lies in building skilled national cadres, starting from the King Salman Complex in King Abdullah Economic City. We also take pride in our partnership with Prince Mohammed Bin Salman College for Business and Entrepreneurship, which stands as a prime example of NAVA’s pursuit of greater strategic integration.

This collaboration seeks to support the Kingdom’s industrial transformation and smart mobility journey through innovative educational and training programs that combine theoretical knowledge with hands-on practical experience. The programs are designed to prepare a new generation of leaders capable of keeping pace with rapid advancements in electric vehicles (EVs), autonomous driving systems, and artificial intelligence (AI).

The MoU also outlines joint efforts to design and implement specialized leadership and technical training programs, focusing on enhancing the administrative and technical competencies of national professionals. It further includes educational, and research collaborations aimed at elevating the quality of training and applied research in modern automotive technologies.

Additionally, both parties will cooperate on social responsibility initiatives to promote community awareness of the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship in advancing the transportation ecosystem, supporting the Kingdom’s vision of building a knowledge-based and sustainable economy.

This partnership underscores the shared commitment of both institutions to advancing the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 by investing in human capital and enabling Saudi talent to play a leading role in driving industrial growth and strengthening the knowledge economy.

At MBSC, we believe leadership is built from within the Kingdom, that’s why our programs go beyond theory to deliver real impact.

This collaboration is a natural step in our vision to lead, from here, to here.

Located in King Abdullah Economic City, one of the Kingdom’s modern urban centers, MBSC offers a world-class learning environment for both students and faculty. The College delivers high-quality education from Saudi Arabia and for Saudi Arabia—across its campuses in KAEC and Riyadh—through a hands-on, experiential model designed to prepare the next generation of transformational leaders.

The memorandum will remain in effect until the end of 2028, establishing a long-term strategic framework for sustainable collaboration in education, research, and technological innovation.
