October 22, 2024 <\/strong>\u2013 Oracle today marked the launch of its second public cloud region in Saudi Arabia at an event in Riyadh that was attended by key industry leaders, Oracle customers, and partners. Oracle\u2019s new Riyadh cloud region will help public and private sector organizations migrate all types of workloads to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure<\/a> (OCI), giving them access to a wide range of cloud services to modernize their applications and innovate with data, analytics, and AI. Center3 is the host partner for the new Oracle Cloud Riyadh Region.<\/p>\n

Part of Oracle\u2019s\u00a0distributed cloud<\/a>\u00a0strategy and Oracle\u2019s US $1.5 billion investment<\/a> to expand cloud infrastructure capabilities in the Kingdom, the new region will help boost the Kingdom\u2019s AI economy, which is expected to reach $135.2 billion by 2030<\/a>. The Oracle Cloud Riyadh Region joins the existing\u00a0Oracle Cloud Jeddah Region\u00a0and the planned Oracle Cloud Region in NEOM to extend Oracle\u2019s footprint in Saudi Arabia. Oracle is the only hyperscaler capable of delivering AI and a full suite of 100+ cloud services across dedicated, public, and hybrid cloud environments, anywhere in the world. This includes\u00a0Oracle Autonomous Database<\/a>,\u00a0HeatWave MySQL Database Service<\/a>,\u00a0Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes<\/a>,\u00a0Oracle Cloud VMware Solution<\/a>,\u00a0OCI Generative AI service<\/a>, OCI AI Infrastructure<\/a>, and OCI Supercluster<\/a>.<\/p>\n
